Based in Braintree and also with offices in Cambridge, I provide financial advice to clients across East Anglia, London and the surrounding areas. I’m passionate about giving great advice, getting it right first time and building long term trusted relationships.
I started working in the Financial Services industry in 1994. This length of time has contributed to my wide range of financial knowledge and expertise.
For the first 20 years I predominantly worked for the large high street banks. I advised a range of personal clients, specialising in investment planning, inheritance tax planning and retirement solutions. Before being invited to join
St. James's Place I also became a public speaker, seminar presenter and technical specialist for Nationwide Building Society.
I love what I do. Running my own Wealth Management company as a Partner Practice of St. James's Place, a FTSE 100 company, helping individuals and business’s make the most of their money, pay less tax – especially Inheritance Tax, and get the most out of their retirement.
Outside of my business I am husband to my wife of over 20 years – Andrea, and father to our 4 ever growing children. I enjoy a round of golf, walks in the countryside and the challenge of finding a bargain collectable at the local antique and collectors fairs.
Fundamentally, I see my approach, as it has always been, as one of problem solving and advising the right solution/s for the client/s – rather than product selling. Subsequently, my clients can expect to receive the most appropriate and comprehensive advice at all times, along with a top quality level of on-going service.
The levels and bases of taxation and reliefs from taxation can change at any time. The value of any tax relief depends on individual circumstances.
